MEMORIAL DAY

First, I would like to remember all that have fought and died that we can enjoy the freedoms that we have today.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What a great and relaxing Memorial Day my family had today.
We went fishing at a friend's pond. The boys had such a good time and caught quite a few fish.
Of course, we threw all back except for two catfish, which made a very yummy lunch.

CHOCOLATE ROCKS

My mother and father-in-law love to got to a town called Mount Airy, NC, which is the town where Andy Griffith grew up. They brought these chocolate rocks home for each of my boys. These are my kind of rocks!
The label says, "Ernest T's Chocolate Rocks. For Eatin'.....Not Throwin'!"

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION

Well, tonight is Samuel's Kindergarten graduation. He has had a great year and has learned SO much. I am so very thankful for the Christian School that the Lord led us to. I will be posting pictures tomorrow.
Nathan has one more week of school. Then, it's off to the mountains for a quick trip, if all is quiet and calm at the church! Yay. We can hardly wait! We are going to see Thomas the Train.
We had to cancel our vacation to the mountains last year due to a death of one of our dear church members. Although we had to stay close to home, we made it an exciting week for the boys. It's amazing what you find to do close to home that's fun. I guess we just take it all for granted since we're around it all the time. But, God blessed, and it was a special week.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

GREAT-GRANDADDY'S TOOLBOX

My boys LOVE a toolbox. This toolbox belonged to their great-grandfather, my husband's grandfather.
They were SO excited when he brought it home to them to look at and explore. I didn't know that there were so many things that needed fixing around my house! lol!
